Melanie (Jones) Day, MS, LPC-S, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arkansas (License #P1902023) and a Board-Approved Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) Supervisor. She earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Arkansas and has nearly a decade of experience serving individuals and families in school-based counseling, residential treatment, community mental health, juvenile justice court, and private practice settings.

Melanie works with children, adolescents, and adults and is passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. She has a special interest in working with transitional-aged youth and individuals from diverse backgrounds and values providing culturally responsive care that acknowledges the ways culture, identity, family, spirituality and life experiences shape mental health and personal growth.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative and individualized, drawing from evidence-based practices including EMDR, TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, ACT, Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, and transgenerational family systems therapy. She also has experience in crisis intervention, collaborative care, and court-related clinical work.

As a Board-Approved LAC Supervisor, Melanie is dedicated to mentoring associate-level counselors and fostering ethical practice, clinical growth, and professional confidence. She believes healing happens through authentic connection and strives to help clients build insight, resilience, and lasting change while honoring their strengths and lived experiences.
